What is the senior dedication?
Each of you are given 30 seconds to record a thank you speech to your parents or whoever you want to address. Paul will then put together all seniors into one loop and it is played from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM as your parents and guests wait for graduation to start.
It could go like:
Hi mom and dad! This is...I want to thank you for your support over the last four years with so many things. For instance, during my junior year, you supported me by helping me visit colleges while I was thinking about it where I wanted to apply (or you could use other examples).

ASB update
Tomorrows Pep Rally will go on as planned for 4th Block (Noon-1pm) -
Tomorrows "Parking Lot K" dance has been postponed due to poor weather (due to rain sometime tonight or tomorrow morning with evening temps in the low 60's) and because we are expecting everything to be pretty wet out there tomorrow evening - so we (ASB) have decided to postpone until NEXT Friday, June 1st. Tickets will continue to be sold for $5 during breaks and lunch next week.

Action Figure
The action figure is:
Batman and Robin in the Silver Age. Thanks for your effort his year! Good luck on 2-hour presentations!
(1) Batman and Robin are superheroes that are human.
Superheroes:
·
281 record at the first dance
·
4300 cans
·
Interception and touchdown to win Powder Puff
·
7 solid dilatory calls and some great speeches
and effective use of the rules at Model Assembly
·
Some incredible contacts and service learning in
senior project
·
Our best success in science fair
·
Strong showing in other spots such as
independent components and exit interviews
·
And much more
At the same time, the human-side shows when times have been
challenging/difficult but like Batman and Robin after a little chaos, 2012
regroups and steps up.
(2) Batman and Robin: Devotion to the city
I think the prom best illustrated the devotion to the class
of 2012 each member had when Karen announced the prom king and queen. 2012
roared in celebration for 2012! I
also saw this devotion to the class in anytime we had an event or when times
were difficult and folks needed to step up for each other.
I also observed devotion to iPoly throughout the year in
many events/activities/lessons.
(3) Dynamic Duo
Batman and Robin have had their ups and downs through the
different versions of Robin, but their superhero expectation and devotion
results in them to regroup and help.
I observed a number of temporary conflicts throughout the
year for some duos in the class, but I also saw some reaching out by the duos
to help each other in times of need.
(4) Batman of the Silver Age
Batman during this era worked alongside others such as
superheroes, police chiefs, batgirl, robin etc, which is what this class did
all year with 2013. We
worked on a number of things with them. Batman also worked alone which this class did to
pull of superheroes status.

Prom Photography Update
*Blog 26: 2-Hour Presentation Rough Draft is due Friday by 8AM. Remember that your final is due to the host teacher by 2:30 PM, the day before your 2-Hour.
I called Clifford. Clifford said they would offer the additional package of $15 per person deal.
$15 gets you 1 5 x 7 and 4 Wallets. If for example, two of you take a photo together, it would cost you $15 per person or $30 total and you would get 1 5 x 7 and 4 Wallets each or 2 5 x 7s and 8 Wallets.
