This is the last day of your high school experience.    Please come before 12 and check out and pick up your diploma.  At this point, you would address any money or items you owe and turn in all community service hours.

After Grad Nite

Senior Breakfast

Senior Breakfast is located at Kellogg West on the Cal Poly Pomona campus.  Click here for the web page!

We hope to return to iPoly from Grad Nite at 7:00 AM.  We will then start senior breakfast at 7:30 AM.

I owe $2 to whoever already paid.  The price now is $47.  Remember to bring your permission slip and money tonight. 


(1) Parking

You can't park at Cal Poly without a pass.  If you buy a daily pass tonight, it is only good until 7:30 AM tomorrow morning.  So thus, if we don't get back in time, you will receive a ticket.  If you go to the cashier's office, you can buy a 2 day pass.

(2) Tickets

When you come at 7:30 PM to check in at the iPoly office, I will give you the Magic Mountain ticket.  Please keep this safe because you will need it to get into Magic Mountain.

(3) In the morning, I will give you a Hurricane Harbor Bounceback pass. 

Parking Passes for Product Presentation

I was just given parking passes your parents (or a guest) can use for Product Presentation.   I have them so come see me and I will give you one. 

Reminders

(1) Bring candy $ if I emailed you
(2) Tuesday is graduation practice and a class photo
(3) Pay for your Grad Nite ticket ($49) and bring the permission slip
(4) Wednesday is late start. Be there by 4:30 PM.  
(5) Product Presentation is on Wednesday evening.  Be prepared and review the contract.
(6) Buy graduation parking passes from the office for $5

What is the senior dedication?

Each of you are given 30 seconds to record a thank you speech to your parents or whoever you want to address.    Paul will then put together all seniors into one loop and it is played from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM as your parents and guests wait for graduation to start.

It could go like:

Hi mom and dad!  This is...I want to thank you for your support over the last four years with so many things.  For instance, during my junior year, you supported me by helping me visit colleges while I was thinking about it where I wanted to apply (or you could use other examples).

What should your booth presentation board include?

The purpose of the display should be to present information about the product in the most concise, clear, and creative manner.  Boards should include:

·       Creative borders, fonts, and layout

·       Pictures of student engaged in product-related activities

·       EQ and Product

The board should be supplemented with peripheral items (laptops with video displays, sample work/documentation, and other items of interest). 

What should you expect for room for setup?

Each student will be sharing one table with another student.  Students are welcome to pick who they want to set up near.  Please bring a table cloth.

• Every senior should be coming to senior breakfast, be at Kellogg West by 7:00-7:15 AM.
• No guest from Grad Nite or guest can attend senior breakfast, sorry.  It is a senior class event.  The guest can wait at iPoly or will need to go home if they went to Grad Nite with you.
