Robocall is automated
phone call that uses both a computerized autodialer and a
computer-delivered pre-recorded message.
It is used in
telemarketing, politics, and for public service announcements or emergency
information.
The laws in
California states:
- · Must have an existing relationship with the person
- · Live person must come on first to tell you the nature of the call and the organization behind it
- · Call must be disconnected immediately if the person hangs up or the message is done
INSTRUCTIONS:

3. Review the profile of your opponent and
the less than perfect information and your opponent and prepare a script.
4. Review the less than perfect
information about your candidate and prepare a positive phone call (and write
the script) to get the voters to focus on the positives.
5. Organize to present both and present
both to the class and turn in the scripts.
ROLES:
Facilitator: Keep the group focused on the
purpose of the assignment, check for understanding regarding information about
the candidate and their opponent, including the less than perfect part, and
prepare them to answer questions about the information and the robocalls.
Harmonizer: Get consensus on what to put in the
robocall and keep group focused on outperforming the other groups
Resource
Manager: Does both robocalls
address the biographies and the less than perfect issue?
Reporter: Organize both robocalls for the
presentation to the class and write in your notebook both scripts
