Powder Puff Rules
1.
If the player who has
the ball’s flag falls for whatever reason, the player is down.
2.
Use of the hands:
- Offensive line blocks by putting their hands on their chest
- Offensive line can’t use their hands to stop the defensive from getting the flag
- Student with the ball can’t use their hands to hand check others or to swat away hands as the defense tries to pull their flag
3.
Flags must be on the
side of the players
4.
2 passing completions
for a first down
5.
Running the ball is not
a completion
6.
Only 2 coaches on the
field per team on the field at one time
7.
2 Time Outs (total)
8.
2 Halves (25 minutes
each): Only stops for time outs and injuries
9.
Scoring: 6 points
for a touchdown; 1 point and 2 point conversation (1 = 2 yards, 2 = 5 yards)
10. 11 players on the field per team at one
time

No limit on
substitutions and they should be made when the ball is dead.
12. Kickoff: Must use a stand and no onside kicks.
13. Punting is an option.

Fumbles &
Interception:

Fumbles: Dead ball no matter if offense or
defense picks it up

Interceptions: Opposing team may run it back
