Better Budget: Role of a Legislator

(Big Idea)
According to the Model Assembly packet, a legislator performs one or more of the following roles:

(1) Trustee
(2) Delegate
(3) Partisan
(4) Politico

However, which one is the most important role for a legislator to perform and why.  Back up your answer with evidence from the work we have done in the class (Xlandia PBL, Better Budget PBL, Model Assembly PBL, and your Senior Project).   Feel free to cite any number in the notebook and the content you learned.

(Instructions)

In your Better Budget groups, write a minimum 250 word essay in response to the prompt.   Please remember to include:
  • Thesis statement = answer to the prompt
  • Introduction
  • Body (evidence from the notebook)
  • Conclusion (1.  summarizing essential points 2.  most important assignment or source  3.   what your group gained from the experience of the Better Budget PBL)
One group per computer

One response per group

Completed in class
